Young Professionals Give Back to Community with Pro-Bono Marketing for Tampa Bay Charity
Tampa, FL – November 29, 2006: Tonight, the young professional organization, Ad 2 Tampa Bay will announce the client for the organization’s annual charity advertising and marketing program on their monthly internet show, AdCast. The show can be viewed live at www.Ad2TampaBay.org and begins at 6:30 p.m.
Each year, Ad 2 Tampa Bay selects a local charity as their public service client. Ad 2 Tampa Bay members work together as a team to plan, create and implement a pro-bono, advertising and marketing campaign based on the goals and mission of the organization.
This year a record 70 plus local non-profit organizations submitted applications to Ad 2 Tampa Bay for the 2007 pro-bono campaign. The opportunity was extended to all non–profit organizations in the Tampa Bay area.
For over 25 years, Ad 2 Tampa Bay has provided services to non-profits such as the Watson Center for the Blind, 211 Tampa Bay Cares, The Humane Society and Child Abuse Prevention Council among others.
“To this day, we are still using the cover designs and bus benches that Ad 2 Tampa Bay created,” said Cynthia Fox, Executive Director of 211 Tampa Bay Cares. “The young and energetic team at Ad 2 Tampa Bay created a campaign that was both tasteful and stunning. Every non-profit should take full advantage of this opportunity."
Ad 2 Tampa Bay president, Vinny Tafuro said, "Our pro-bono client this year will inspire great creative ideas from our members. Each year nationally the Ad 2 public service initiative really motivates the participants to create something larger than themselves for a good cause." Ad 2 Tampa Bay is comprised of young professionals in the marketing industry under the age of 32.

AdCast is a monthly internet webcast for young professionals in the Tampa Bay area created by Ad 2 Tampa Bay members. The show is produced by Tampa Digital Studios. On tonight’s show, Ad 2 Tampa Bay will welcome a representative from the charity organization to the show to share their mission. The show will also feature guests from La Casa Dolce, 13 Ugly Men and will highlight upcoming events from Ad 2 Tampa Bay.
