What I do for Ad 2 Tampa Bay
I oversee our 26-member board of directors through a multitude of initiatives in public service, education and legislative efforts, and represent our club within the American Advertising Federation at the statewide and national level.

What I do for a living
I'm the creative director at Social Forces, a cutting-edge social media marketing firm that partners with agencies to help brands make friends online.

Why I'm involved
Ad 2 has given me the experience and the opportunities I need to confidently move forward in my career. It allows us as young advertising professionals to gain knowledge, connections and perspectives we would never otherwise get in our first few years in the industry.

What I do for Ad 2 Tampa Bay
As Immediate Past President my main responsibility is to help ensure the sustainability of our chapter by mentoring the current leaders.

What I do for a living
I'm a Communications Planner for Social Forces, a social media marketing engagement agency.

My favorite Ad 2 memory
Toward the beginning of my year as President, our Board of Directors was about to select our public service client for the year, when suddenly I found them all looking to me for final approval, and it hit me — Ad 2 had given me the opportunity to be respected as a leader among my peers.

Why I'm involved
Leadership within the American Advertising Federation has allowed me to: Make industry friends all over the country, network with the biggest names in advertising, grow my leadership & management skills, define my career direction through development opportunities & mentorships and gain a high-level national perspective on our industry.

What I do for Ad 2 Tampa Bay
As the Vice President of Operations I serve as Secretary, Treasurer, and try my best to provide leadership and guidance to all areas of the club and our activities on a day to day basis.

What I do for a living
I am a Senior Project Manager for Pinstripe Marketing, a full service professional services firm, responsible for media, business development, public service, and manage some of the agency’s most high-profile clients.

Favorite Ad 2 Memory
I can’t possibly pick one favorite memory of being a member of Ad 2 nor complete it in one sentence but I have to say that it feels pretty good to witness Ad 2 Tampa Bay win club of the year and be recognized for all of our hard work in front of advertising professionals from all around the country at the AAF National Conference.

Why I'm involved
I initially joined Ad 2 to enhance my leadership skills, my network and to be more involved within the community but have also met the most interesting people, gained lifetime friendships and every experience seems to be more FUN than the last.

What I do for Ad 2 Tampa Bay
My main goal as Education Director is to make sure students have the resources they need to succeed in the marketing industry by helping organize programs like the Student Media Tour, the Student Mentorship Program, the Campus Road Show and the Internship resources page.

What I do for a living
In my role as Account Manager for Raymond James Financial, I provide strategic marketing support and leverage our in-house creative agency to help business units within the company achieve their goals.

Favorite Ad 2 Memory
It’s very hard to just pick one, but I really enjoyed the 2008 Fall Student tour because I thought we covered a lot of grounds and visited a very diverse share of businesses.

Why I'm involved
When I graduated college, I was lucky to be surrounded by very talented marketing professionals that helped to motivate and guide me in my career. This is a great way for me to give back.

What I do for Ad 2 Tampa Bay
I am the Membership Director for Ad 2. I help recruit and generate interest into our FABULOUS organization. What I do for a living
I work for Clearchannel Broadcasting. I am a Radio and Internet Marketing Consultant. I work for 93.3FLZ, 98ROCK and 95.7THEBEAT. I spend my days coming up with integrated marketing solutions for businesses in the Tampa Bay area and beyond. If you ever need help planning an event, driving business to your location and branding, I am your girl! :)

Favorite Ad 2 Memory
My favorite AD2 memory is going to the national conference in DC this past June. I was a co-director for Public Service last year. We came in second place for our non profit client One Here One There. www.onehereonethere.org It was an amazing experience and so glad to be able to help an organization come up with a marketing plan and actually get to implement it with the help from local agencies and media companies. The campaign came to life from all local industry people. Everything from the strategy, the creative to the media plan was worked by us. The experience was very rewarding and it was great to help a local non-profit flourish.

Why I'm involved
I am involved with AD2 Tampa Bay because in a nutshell: WE ROCK! We are the best organization for young professionals in the advertising industry. You are connected with an amazing group of talented advertising professionals that love to network, work with the community and socialize over cocktails. I want to see our advertising community grow and thrive in the market.

What I do for Ad 2 Tampa Bay
Amanda is proud to take on the role as Student Membership Director. She's excited to inspire college students to get involved with this nationally recognized chapter.

What I do for a living
Amanda graduated in May 2009 and is currently the Sales Coordinator of Integrated Marketing and Events at Clear Channel Radio in Tampa.

Favorite Ad 2 Memory
Amanda's favorite memory was her first Ad 2 event, Ad Bash to the tune of Mad Men, where she enjoyed mingling with fantastic advertising professionals dressed in 1960's attire.

Why I'm involved
Amanda joined Ad 2 Tampa Bay as a USF Ad Club member, with the hopes to meet other young professionals with an advertising interest and to network her way into a great company after college.

What I do for Ad 2 Tampa Bay
As part of the Ad 2 Tampa Bay board, I am the Co-Programs Director and last year's Events Director. I help set up our monthly membership meetings and bring in speakers to broaden your advertising knowledge!

What I do for a living
When I'm not at Ad 2, I work as a copywriter for PostcardMania, a direct mail marketing firm. I also freelance as a web site copywriter.

Why I'm involved
I joined Ad 2 Tampa Bay because everyone really cares. This organization goes beyond networking; it makes a difference in our community through advertising. Last year, planning our Mad Bash Party, I met so many amazing people and it was one of the most memorable events of the year!

I'm currently serving as Executive Producer of Ad 2 Tampa Bay's monthly webcast, AdCast.

What I do for a living
I develop proposals and marketing strategies for Harvard Jolly Architecture, one of the leading architecture firms in the Southeast.

Why I'm involved
I'm involved with Ad 2 Tampa Bay for the opportunities to meet with and collaborate with other young professionals in Tampa, as well as the pride that comes with the organization's yearly pro-bono public service campaign.

I work as the “Results Manager” for PostcardMania, a Clearwater based direct mail company – I make sure that our clients get the best ROI possible with our products. www.postcardmania.com

Favorite Ad 2 Memory
Jeff Morrow’s Halloween party: Compton spends 20 mins getting us all into the same room and posed for a photo, only to say “psyche” and walk off… what a hilarious prank! (for the record - he came back and took a photo)

Why I'm involved
I’m involved with Ad 2 because I want to be engaged, outside of my job, with my community and with people who are passionate about the same things I am… Plus, I firmly believe that if you want to be great, then we need to surround ourselves with greatness… and this is what we’re cookin’ up at Ad 2.

What I do for Ad 2 Tampa Bay
As the 2009 Diversity chair for Ad 2 Tampa Bay, Mandy is currently planning a diversity campaign for the Tampa Bay area, which she hopes to expand opportunities for all cultures. Understanding and embracing people of all cultural backgrounds, is a passion that Mandy highly values in life.

What I do for a living
Since graduating in 2008 from the Zimmerman Advertising Program at USF, Mandy has worked closely with Tampa Bay networking and interactive media guru, Vinny Tafuro, as an Account Executive. She has a versatile edge in the ad industry, as Mandy is drawn to all departments ranging from media and research, to planning and account management. You can find Mandy serving the stars and glamour of Tampa Bay at one of Tampa's finest steak and seafood houses, Council Oak at the Hard Rock Casino. Mandy is also a painter, exploring the unique fine art of working with acrylic glass pieces.

Favorite Ad 2 Memory
As this past year's Public Service Co-Chair, Mandy's fondest memory with Ad 2 was when she watched a year's worth of hard work come to life--Ad 2 Tampa Bay placed 2nd in the 2008 AAF Ad 2 Public Service competition, naming them National Runner-Up. Mandy truly feels that this was one of her greatest accomplishments and is proud to have been part of such a wonderful team of talented young professionals, while also serving for an amazing cause with the local non-profit, One Here, One There (www.onehereonethere.org).

What I do for Ad 2 Tampa Bay
I am the hospitality director for Ad 2 at the meetings and events, making sure that all guests feel welcome and are aware of what Ad 2 represents and it's place in the community.

What I do for a living
I am the owner of Mai Noel Creative and design a diverse range of marketing and print media pieces for national and local companies.

Favorite Ad 2 Memory
The 2007-2008 National Conference in Atlanta to celebrate winning club of the year because almost our entire board was present and we all really bonded with each other and the other Ad 2 clubs across the nation.
